Best place to get donuts! My daughter calls the owner the Donut LORD! He is so kind and helpful. She has terrible nut allergies and he found a way to make donuts that are safe for her. She has eaten there many times, without a worry. She eats his special donuts and has so much fun! Just ask for the Donut Lord! lol (Its a plain donut that is taken off the line before it is cross contaminated with anything harmful to her. The staff is so kind and careful with her food.) We are SO VERY THANKFUL for this sweet place!!!! Thank you Donut Lord and his amazing super wonderful staff!!!

Hello we've been coming here since the 80's,this is a need to visit spot in McAllen that makes the city shine and kids smile when they go by.It has always been open regardless the weather ☁️,and you will always find a friendly smile behind the counter,I brought my kids here for donut 🍩 holes,and now my grandkids.Thank you Shipley's donuts for serving our city.Blessings from the 956 area. I was truly disappointed tonight. I’ve been going to this location for over 10yrs. I have NEVER experienced food quality & taste this horribly. I went at 10pm. I know it’s late but first, there was absolutely no donuts. Very minimal selection. Like 5 varieties. It’s a 24hr business. At least have regular glazed. As I sat in my vehicle to enjoy them with my toddler, she asked for a donut & literally half the cake donuts I had purchased, were soo stale & hard. They were also dry. I was in shock on how hard. I thought maybe if in the microwave. But it was a little too much for my liking. I could taste they had been out all day. I went back in to let the guy know, & he said “ that’s the way cake donuts get.” That because it’s different dough it’s gets hard like that. He offered to get me new donuts but the selection was so minimal, I kept what I got. I was disappointed. The only ones that were worth eating were the 3 sugar donuts. I was so sad because I have never gotten donuts this bad.

Shipley's is the best, better than all the others, no one compares. We are fortunate that ours is 24/7, others like in Houston aren't. Make mine Shipley, the one and only.

The team is warm, friendly, and always welcoming. They greet us with genuine smiles, remember our orders, and make us feel like valued neighbors. The donuts are consistently fresh, soft, and delicious, and the coffee is always hot and ready to go. It is rare to find a place where the service matches the quality of the product, but this location delivers both every time. We are grateful to have them right beside us.
